The Kravis Center is committed to ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of our guests with disabilities. Each of the venues within our state-of-the-art facility is wheelchair accessible and offers a variety of services to accommodate those with disabilities. In 1996, the Kravis Center was awarded the National Endowment for the Arts “universal design” recognition for “providing a facility with outstanding handicap access.” We continue to remain on the forefront of industry changes and advancements to maintain the highest level of accessibility for our guests.

All Kravis Center entries are accessible to persons using wheelchairs.

Parking
Parking spaces for our guests with disabilities are located on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the parking garage, the closest parking to our garage elevators and the covered walkway to the theaters. Additional spaces designated for disabled drivers are located on each floor of the garage. Entrances are located on Alexander W. Dreyfoos Way (formerly Iris Street) and Tamarind Avenue. Please note that oversized vehicles must enter through the entrance on Okeechobee Boulevard.

Service Animals
Service animals are welcome inside the Kravis Center building and must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. If you intend to bring a service animal to a performance, please notify the customer service representative at the time of purchase so that we can identify the most suitable seating location for you.

Seating
Accessible seating for guests with disabilities and a companion is available for all shows on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to mention your need for wheelchair accessible seating or other accommodations when placing your ticket order. Guests are encouraged to bring their own wheelchairs.

Elevators
The Kravis Center is equipped with four large elevators located on the east and west sides of the lobby, providing easy access to all levels of the Center. Controls are designated in Braille, in addition to the standard buttons.

Restrooms
With the exception of the balcony, there are restrooms on all levels of the Kravis Center that contain facilities for our guests with disabilities. Signage on all restrooms is designated in Braille, in addition to the standard visual markings.

Audio Aids
A state-of-the-art, infrared audio enhancement system is available for the hearing impaired during all performances in Dreyfoos Hall, the Rinker Playhouse and Persson Hall. Assistive Listening Devices in Dreyfoos Hall are available at the Guest Services Desk. In Rinker Playhouse and Persson Hall, contact a member of the Front of House staff for assistance. All Assistive Listening Devices are available on a first come, first served basis.

Open Captioning
The Kravis Center provides open captioning for the first Saturday matinee performances of Kravis On Broadway presentations. Live performance Captioning (or open captioning) is a text display located on the side of the stage that scrolls words in synchronization with the performance. Reserved seats for people with hearing loss will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are in need of this service, please alert the Box Office when ordering tickets.

Sign Language
Sign language interpreters are provided at Sunday matinee performances of Kravis On Broadway presentations.

Large Print Programs
Large print programs are available most Kravis Center presentations and may be picked up at the Guest Services Desk located in the lobby, or contact a member of our Front of House staff.
