Young Friends of the Kravis Center Kick-Off The 2022-23 Season

The young professionals gathered for an evening of community and networking

On October 12, over 40 Young Friends of the Kravis Center gathered for a cocktail reception in the Carl and Ruth Shapiro Founders’ Room in Dreyfoos Hall to kick-off the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts’ 30th Anniversary season. The evening included a look at performances and events planned for the current season and concluded with the highlight of the night: an exclusive backstage tour and onstage photo opportunity.

Kravis Center CEO Diane Quinn welcomed the Young Friends saying, “This is a special year to honor our past, celebrate the present and look excitedly to a great future. I look forward to connecting with you throughout the season as we build our community through the live performing arts.”

Ms. Quinn acknowledged Young Friends Immediate Past Chair, Stephanie Glavin and Young Friends member and Kravis Center Board member, Bradley Hurston and thanked them for their service. She then introduced Young Friends Executive Committee Chair and Vice President and Banker at JP Morgan Chase & Co., Aisha Ali.

“Having an opportunity to be on stage, you truly felt the magic of the Center.  It was a special night for our Young Friends members who are committed to supporting arts and culture in Palm Beach County,” reflected Ms. Ali. “We are proud to kick off 30 years of live entertainment with this dynamic group and look forward to all the wonderful ways we will make a difference in our community.”

Ali Rehm, Kravis Center Development Officer and Young Friends Liaison said “Our Young Friends have an exciting line-up of events this season with opportunities to support our comprehensive arts education programs. It’s a great time to join and get involved.”
