Kravis Center Presents an Acoustic Evening with Matisyahu March 25 – 26, 2023

(West Palm Beach, FL ) – Described by the Miami New Times as “tremendous, zen-like, and enlightening,” Matisyahu brings his stripped back acoustic show to The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on March 25 – 26, 2023.  The show features long-time friend, and collaborator Adam Weinberg on acoustic guitar.

Presented in its most raw form, Matisyahu will highlight his repertoire – allowing his voice and beat-boxing, paired with inventive guitar arrangements, to expand through lyrical intensity and musical improvisation. This format naturally digs deep into the meaning of the song itself, and lays Matisyahu’s spiritual journey bare, bringing a closeness to the artist-fan relationship.

Like only the most gifted storytellers, Matisyahu spins the rare kind of stories that simultaneously enlighten and enthrall and expand the audience’s sense of possibility. On his eponymous new album, the Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter/rapper shares his most autobiographical work to date, merging that personal revelation with a shapeshifting collision of reggae and hip-hop and boldly inventive pop. Produced by Salt Cathedral (a Brooklyn-based duo comprised of Colombian musicians Juliana Ronderos and Nicolas Losada), the result is an undeniably transformative album, one that invites both intense introspection and unbridled celebration.

An Acoustic evening with Matisyahu takes place at the Kravis Center’s Marshall E. Rinker, Sr.  Playhouse March 25 and 26, 2022 at 8pm. Tickets start at $59* and will go on sale Friday, December 9 at 10am. Tickets may be purchased at the official Kravis Center website kravis.org and at the Kravis Center Box Office by calling 561.832.7469. Kravis Box office hours are Monday through Saturday, 12pm – 5pm.
