Kravis-On-The-Road Request Form
-Front Office personnel should be informed and prepared for company arrival (we will arrive 60-75 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time)
-Designated performance space must be reserved one hour prior to scheduled performance time and ½ hour following performance time for load-in and load-out.
-Students may load-in no earlier than ten minutes prior to the performance
-Playing space should be no smaller than 15’ x 25’ (or as close as possible) and should be cleared and clean
-Seating should be arranged in front of playing space for optimal viewing
-Two dressing rooms are requested for the actors to change into performance costumes (teacher lounge/Staff Dining with restrooms work great!)
-Kindly remind teachers to have their conversations outside of the theater space during the performance
-The company will arrive by Kravis Center van at least one hour prior to the scheduled performance for load-in and set-up. The Production Stage Manager, a Kravis Technician, and the cast will check-in with the Front Office upon arrival for sign-in and direction to the designated performance space.

Nine-year-old Bee Quijada sits in a suburban classroom. During a history lesson on Rosa Parks, she asks, “Where did Latinos sit on the bus?” What follows is a theatrical mixtape of Bee’s life. It’s a one-person show that immerses the audience in elaborate, layered soundscapes by fusing Latin rhythms, hip-hop, and spoken word poetry. And it’s all made in person, and in real time, through the magic of live music and storytelling.

Chasing Our Tales is a play on words, which is appropriate since it really is a play…on words. We’ll learn where a lot of phrases we use every day come from and we’ll monkey around with a mad hatter (not the Alice one) and we might even butter you up. Or tell a tale or two about a tail or two. So come on, bite the bullet, break the ice and let your hair down. You can learn a lot of life skills if you don’t turn a blind eye while we’re Chasing Our Tales!
