All the fiery drama of Prosper Mérimée’s CARMEN is reimagined during Ballet Palm Beach’s darkly beautiful ballet. This intimate production immerses you in the world of the sensual and spirited Carmen. After attracting the eye of Don José, the tragic beauty’s life is thrown into chaos by the Don’s jealousy and rage. Experience the iconic music, passion and whirlwind of dance that is CARMEN.
The production includes limited cabaret seating.
The program also includes the world premiere of Shizu Yasuda’s SANCTUS. Featuring music by Bach, Caldara and Gregorian chant, this breathtaking original work is a moving prayer for hope and restoration revealed through the evocative power of ballet.
