BEEHIVE DANCE PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS

Mar 27, 2027 |Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Playhouse

AWAKEN THE CROWN is a multi-genre dance show based on the reimagined Greek myths of Hades/Persephone in Act 1 and Medusa/Aphrodite/Poseidon in Act 2.

Set to mostly contemporary times, the show features: contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, techno-house, bachata, salsa, ballroom (waltz), disco and jazz/rock. Through collaboration, we can achieve joy, creativity and that becomes a cycle of purpose. We all have flaws and we can acknowledge our mistakes, communicate and make repairs and continue on to awaken our crowns.

Everyone is an artist…there is art in how we dress, speak, chose and how we occupy space in the world.

About the Company:
Beehive Dance Productions, Inc. started as Beez Dance Hive which was a safe place for adults with neurological disorders to partake in ballroom and Latin dance lessons without feeling self conscious. Appreciation and involvement with everything pertaining to the arts (especially dance) and making that joy accessible to everyone was the drive behind the production company. Perform, assist, contribute or watch….All participation is welcomed.
