(West Palm Beach, Fla.) – The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts has announced four shows to kick off the 2026-2027 PEAK Series. The immersive musical journey Where Did We Sit on the Bus? returns on October 9 through 10, followed by internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist Julia Keefe and her Indigenous Big Band on October 22. Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater celebrates the rich traditions of the past while presenting the voice of a new generation on November 7 and 8. Brazilian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bia Ferreira will bring her Latin American sound to the Kravis Center music scene on November 20.

Nine-year-old Bee Quijada sits in a suburban classroom. During a history lesson on Rosa Parks, she asks, “Where did Latinos sit on the bus?” What follows is a theatrical mixtape of Bee’s life. It’s a one-person show that immerses the audience in elaborate, layered soundscapes by fusing Latin rhythms, hip-hop, and spoken word poetry. And it’s all made, in-person, in real time, through the magic of live music and storytelling.

Heralded by the New York Times as “a songbird of a jazz vocalist,” JULIA KEEFE is an internationally acclaimed Native American singer and actor. Her flagship project, JULIA KEEFE INDIGENOUS BIG BAND celebrates the diversity and vitality of Indigenous people in jazz. For more than two decades, she has performed around the world, inspiring audiences with her unique sound and her revival and tribute to the legendary jazz musician Mildred Bailey.

RENNIE HARRIS PUREMOVEMENT AMERICAN STREET DANCE THEATER brings social dance to the concert stage, creating a cohesive style that challenges expectations of hip-hop and street dance. Harris believes hip-hop culture can help bridge racial, religious and economic divisions. His work embraces the rich traditions of the past while presenting the voice of a new generation.

Brazilian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, BIA FERREIRA has one of the most powerful voices in the Latin American music scene. She’s known for her poignant lyrics and for concerts that become a space for enlightenment, provocation and inspiration. Her music blends elements of soul, blues, reggae, funk, R&B, rap and more.
