Studio 88 violinist Mia Huang and pianist Andy Wu are young artists who are both recent graduates of the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. Collectively, they have performed at prestigious venues across the country including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, NJPAC, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the United Nations. Andy, a former Harmony for Peace Foundation Ambassador and winner of the Pennsylvania MTNA Piano Competition, has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras across the Tri-State area. Mia has served as concertmaster with the Moscow, Belgorod, Guangzhou, and Macau Philharmonic Orchestras through international cultural exchange programs and held top seats in the National and All-Eastern orchestras. Despite being classically trained and seasoned in formal performances, they’re excited to share holiday and popular tunes in a more laid-back setting.
Offstage, they’re a couple who simply love playing music together!
