We are seeking Parking Garage Attendants to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate with the Director of Operations, Project and Events Liaison, and Parking Operations Supervisor to assist with the transition to a paid parking system using ParkMobile, a mobile app-based payment platform. This role plays a key part in ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming parking experience for all patrons of the Kravis Center.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation and day-to-day operation of the ParkMobile app-based paid parking system.
- Assist patrons in using the ParkMobile app, providing guidance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure a positive patron experience by offering courteous, informed assistance and ensuring adherence to current ADA standards.
- Promote and enforce safety procedures while helping to maintain a clean and secure parking facility.
- Respond to emergencies or incidents in the parking garage and coordinate with Security personnel when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff and guests.
- Proficient in using app-based mobile technology on both Apple and Android devices.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This position requires availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by the Kravis Center’s event schedule. The role also requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and physical mobility to perform tasks such as navigating stairs, crouching, reaching, climbing, kneeling, stooping, standing, and sitting for varying durations.
Candidates must also be able to work outdoors for extended periods in diverse weather conditions, including high heat, humidity, rain, and cold.
Frequent and prolonged periods of standing are required.
