(West Palm Beach, FL) – The Raymond F Kravis Center for the Performing Arts presents a new musical comedy – HERE YOU COME AGAIN: How Dolly Saved My Life in 12 Easy Songs. Written by Bruce Vilanch, Gabriel Barre and Tricia Paoluccio HERE YOU COME AGAIN features songs by Dolly Parton (and others).

Touching and rollickingly funny, HERE YOU COME AGAIN is a musical celebration of the humor and wit of Dolly Parton. In this sweet two-hander, Dolly Parton appears to a struggling NYC comedian quarantining in his parents’ Texas attic after a break-up. Dolly uses her trademark charm to guide Kevin as he rediscovers hope in a trying time. They sing and swap stories—and while hand sanitizer may be scarce, laughter and rhinestones are not. Bruce Vilanch adds, “there isn’t a person in the world who hasn’t thought about what it would be like to spend the night with Dolly Parton — in our show, one lucky fan gets to do it…in his mind. Come see Dolly Parton save a life in 12 easy songs.”

Vilanch and Barre last teamed up in 2018 on Delaware Theatre Company’s acclaimed A Sign of The Times. “It has been a thrill to develop this show with the fabulous Bruce Vilanch and the transformative Tricia Paoluccio as Dolly, and most of all with the blessing and support of Dolly Parton!” said director Gabriel Barre.

A NEW MUSICAL COMEDY! A touching and rollickingly funny celebration of the music of Dolly Parton, who appears to a struggling comedian quarantining in his parents’ attic. Featuring hits like “Jolene,” “9 To 5” and “Here You Come Again,” it’s a can’t miss for Dolly fans and theatregoers alike!

Tricia Paoluccio (Writer/Performer: Dolly Parton) Tricia grew up on an almond farm in Modesto, CA, and learned how to sing by listening to Dolly Parton records. Her Broadway credits include A View from the Bridge, Julie Taymor’s The Green Bird, and Fiddler on the Roof, as Chava, opposite Alfred Molina and Harvey Fierstein. Off-Broadway highlights include originating the role of Donna in the comedy Debbie Does Dallas, Cressida in Troilus and Cressida (directed by Sir Peter Hall), and Carol in Edward Albee’s Lady from Dubuque (the inaugural production at the new Signature Theatre). Her upcoming television/film credits include a recurring role in Hulu’s Saint X and the film Portrait of a Young Man, which was filmed in Florida. Other TV/FIlm credits include Hunters, Plot Against America, Bluebloods, Homeland, Chicago Med, Bull, OITNB, The Affair, Law and Order and many more. She played Dolly Parton at the Ryman Auditorium in the musical Stand By Your Man, and recently played Doralee in Sacramento Music Circus production of 9 to 5. Bruce Vilanch (Writer) Bruce Vilanch has the same hair color as Dolly Parton, as well as the same bra size. He has written for some of her stage appearances over the last half century and was part of the second wave writing team on her infamous TV series on ABC Sunday nights. He has six Emmys, none of them for that show, but two of them for co-writing a couple of his 23 Oscar telecasts. In fact, he is the “egot” of awards show writers, having penned many Emmys, Grammys, Oscars and Tonys. For six years, he was a Hollywood Square, just to the left of Whoopi, if that’s possible, and for two years he starred on Broadway and on tour as Edna Turnblad, Baltimore housewife, in Hairspray (for which the bra size came in handy). He has written for about everyone in show business, which was documented in the film Get Bruce!, featuring his frequent collaborators Bette Midler, Robin Williams and Billy Crystal, and produced by Harvey Weinstein, who never laid a hand on him. #whynotme?

Gabriel Barre (Writer/Director) Gabriel is an internationally acclaimed director who directed Amazing Grace, on Broadway, in Washington DC, Chicago and on National Tour. Off-Broadway credits include the original productions of; Manhattan Theatre Club’s, The Wild Party, Summer of ’42, john & jen and Almost, Maine. National Tours include Amazing Grace, Pippin, and Cinderella. Regional theatre credits include the original production of Memphis, at North Shore Music Theatre and Theatreworks in Palo Alto, CA; A Sign of the Times at the Delaware Theatre Company; as well as Billy Elliot, Sweeney Todd, Finian’s Rainbow, Houdini, Camille, A Sign of the Times and many others at Goodspeed Musicals and at the nearby, Norma Terris Theatre. International credits include: the Mexican premiere of Billy Elliot, The Scarlet Pimpernel in Japan, and numerous shows in Korea, China and the Czech Republic, including the world premiere of the new Czech musical, Holmes, The Legend which opened last fall and the Frank Wildhorn musical, Carmen which recently celebrated its 12th sold out year anniversary. As an actor, he has appeared often in film and on television and was nominated for a TONY Award as Best Actor in a Musical.
