Randell and Rebecca Doane, partners of the estate and tax planning law firm of Doane & Doane, PA are pleased to support the Kravis Center’s mission. The Law Firm of Doane & Doane has been a Corporate member since 2018, but the Doanes’ commitment and love of the Kravis Center goes back to the 1980s, when the Kravis Center was still just a hope and a dream.
After Randell and Rebecca moved to Palm Beach County in 1987, they would travel regularly down to Ft. Lauderdale for the theater experience there, as Palm Beach County was sorely missing a world class performing arts center. After supporting and attending many fundraising events to remedy this, finally the Kravis Center broke ground in 1989. In 1992 the jewel in the crown of Palm Beach was completed, and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts was opened.
From the beginning, the programming at the Center has focused not only on adult audiences but has also encouraged our Palm Beach County youth to attend, participate and become connected to the lifelong enrichment that the arts bring. The three Doane children, Elizabeth, Bryan and Rand, all became members of “the Kravis Kids Club” and never missed a Saturday matinee performance. Their love of music, arts and theater continues to this day, in large part thanks to the Center.
The Doanes continue to meet and assist many supporters of the Center in their wills, trusts and estates law practice. As they say: “It is such a pleasure and privilege to assist others in supporting such a worthwhile organization in their estate plans, to ensure that future generations have access to unique exhibits and performances, and to expose our community’s children to the life enriching experiences that the arts provide.”
