Broadway and Beyond – not your typical children’s choir concert. Young Singers of the Palm Beaches will present over 350 singers in a memorable evening celebrating the music of 10 decades of Broadway as well as incorporating pop hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody and the Jackson Five’s A,B,C. The children will fill the main stage of Dreyfoos Hall with the sounds and choreography ranging from the Caribbean beat of Once on This Island to the streets of New York with Seize the Day from “Newsies.”
Young Singers of the Palm Beaches is an award-winning children’s choir, located in West Palm Beach at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. They have won numerous awards such as the “Diversity and Inclusion Award” from the State of Florida, to “Outstanding Programming” by the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County. Young Singers of the Palm Beaches believes that choral music education is a valuable resource in the development of productive participants in our society. Through their choirs they provide children from grades 2 through 12 with the opportunity to develop leadership skills, create supportive friendships and become ambassadors for their communities.
