Join the Young Singers for their 20th Anniversary Concert: Hear the Future. The title of this concert is two-fold. The audience will “hear” the future: 250 youth in grades 2 through 12 singing on the main stage of the Kravis Center. Young Singers wants to present these children to you: “Here” is the future – these children who are an example of the outstanding youth in our community.
Enhanced by a live orchestra, the spring concert will be a compilation of songs based on the themes Young Singers of the Palm Beaches teaches and encourages: empathy, acceptance, friendship, compassion, service, strength and self-confidence.
Shawn Berry, one of the organization’s founders, expresses his thoughts on the importance of the choir, “At YSPB we get to experience the importance of singing weekly. We know that singing inspires courageous self-expression to those that feel invisible or afraid and it speaks to our oneness by dipping into the same universe of notes, tones, melodies, voices, rhythm, harmony, color, feelings, human experience and creative spirit. It makes us one.”
