Philip Roth

A Conversation with Lee Wolf and Steven Caras
(A Kravis Center Cultural Society Event)

Mar 18, 2019 | Gimelstob Ballroom

Philip Roth, who died last May at the age of 85, is a leading voice in the canon of American Literature. He enjoyed testing the boundaries of good taste and did so with sparkling wit through his oft irreverent and voyeuristic approach. He was undaunted by his many critics, forcefully questioning and criticizing certain sacred American beliefs. Ironically, Roth’s 2004 novel, The Plot Against America, foreshadows what is transpiring today in our country. Lee Wolf and Steven Caras will share a no holds-barred discussion about Roth’s life and work.

Sponsored by Bonnie and Steven Stern

Note: Admission includes lunch prepared by Catering by The Breakers at the Kravis Center.
