with Ryan Conarro
Directed by Ping Chong

Feb 15, 2019 - Feb 16, 2019 | Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Playhouse

Beyond Sacred is a compelling interview-based production that explores the social challenges faced by young Muslims. Reflecting a wide range of identities, the five performers hail from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and their true stories create a beautiful, funny and intensely poignant plea for tolerance and understanding.

Guests attending this performance in the Rinker Playhouse will receive a ticket voucher for one complimentary beverage. (Underage guests will be offered a non-alcoholic selection.)

This PEAK performance is made possible by a grant from the  MLDauray Arts Initiative in honor of Leonard and Sophie Davis

Note: This presentation is part of Center Stage, a public diplomacy initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, administered by the New England Foundation for the Arts in cooperation with the U.S. Regional Arts Organizations, with support from the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art, and the Trust for Mutual Understanding.
