Hailed as the most promising classical crossover artist in today’s music, Franco Corso returns to the Kravis Center for his annual Holiday Concert ‘My Italian Christmas’ featuring classics of the season and memories reminiscent of his days growing up in Italy. Inspired by Caruso, Bocelli and Josh Groban, Franco Corso has been recognized for his ability to transition from dramatic baritone to velvet-tone tenor.
Born in San Remo on the Italian Riviera bordering the south of France and Monte-Carlo, Franco Corso has been passionate about music since he was 6 years old performing in his hometown church as a choir boy.
Performing to sold-out theatres, arenas and concert halls throughout the U.S. and Canada, Corso continues to command standing ovations with his charismatic showmanship and Voice of an ‘Angel’, also the title of his ethereal original hit song. His talent is galvanized with multi-lingual finesse to deliver songs in English, Italian, Spanish and French, with Pop-Opera renditions. Franco has the unique ability to hold a note then transition into musical segues like a vocal rainbow.
‘I love singing for a great cause’ – Corso’s stunning performances include major charity events: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PBS WXEL’s Women with Wings at Mar-a-Lago, the annual American Heart Association Ball at the Breakers Resort, The American Humane Society in conjunction with Lois Pope’s Life Foundation, Pap Corps cancer research, and many philanthropic organizations.
Franco Corso and his stellar band of international musicians will present the most popular Holiday classics with a hip twist: Holy Night, Ave Maria, White Christmas, The Prayer, Because We Believe, The Lord’s Prayer, Silent Night, Hallelujah and a version of Jingle Bells like you never heard before!
“Come One and All” to this concert for the entire family with a warm stage, set just like your holiday living room and enhanced by visual effects, adding sparkle to the most wonderful time of the year.
