Mar 21, 2018 - Mar 22, 2018 | Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Playhouse

Lil Buck and Jon Boogz, known for a Memphis-born style of street dancing called jookin, co-founded M.A.I. (Movement Art Is) to inspire and change the world while elevating the artistic, educational and social impact of dance. Boogz’s insightful work Love Heals All Wounds features M.A.I. and his dance company Control Freakz, and uses phenomenal footwork and the spoken word to address today’s most controversial issues while promoting diversity, inclusion and empathy.

This PEAK performance is made possible by a grant from the
MLDauray Arts Initiative in honor of Leonard and Sophie Davis

Beyond the Stage: Join us for a free post-performance talk by Steven Caras immediately following the Mar. 21 performance.

Guests attending performances in the Rinker Playhouse will receive a ticket voucher for one complimentary beverage. (Underage guests will be offered a non-alcoholic selection.)
