Production Technicians – Full-Time

  • The Kravis Center has immediate openings for well-organized and motivated individuals with experience in entertainment production.  Applicants should have an emphasis in at least one of the following areas:  Lighting, Audio, Stage Management (Event Supervisor) or A/V & Camera. – All positions require the ability to work both as part of a team and independently while maintaining a positive attitude. (Please see below for specific position requirements.)

  • LIGHTING Requirements:  Read and execute a light plot, Operate lighting equipment for both streamed and live performances; Be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.; Troubleshoot data and power connectivity issues; Proficient on both an Ion and GrandMA2 Lite board; Assist in equipment purchasing decisions; Knowledge of Vectorworks a plus.
  • AUDIO Requirements: Read and execute a stage plot and a channel hookup; Operate the audio equipment for both streamed and live performances; Troubleshoot data and power connectivity issues; Work comfortably on AVID brand consoles; Knowledge of Dante and Pro Tools a plus.
  • STAGE MANAGER (EVENT SUPERVISOR) Requirements:  Read, mark-up and execute technical riders for upcoming performances; Function as “tech liaison” to our Education Dept.; Assist with scheduling multiple events in multiple locations simultaneously; Must be able to clearly communicate show/client needs to the team; Must be able to run/manage a crew of 4-8; Maintain, organize and track all relevant show/event documents; Function as point of contact for new student job shadowing program.
  • A/V AND CAMERA Requirements:  Extensive knowledge of Qlab, Microsoft Office; Adobe Premiere; General camera knowledge; Operate and manage Zoom meetings and webinars; Experience working with PTZ cameras; General knowledge of video switching – preferably at the intermediate to advanced level; Current on contemporary video software.
