Pilobolus, a featured performer in the Kravis Center’s 2018-2019 PEAK series, has performed over 100 different choreographic works in more than 64 countries and on the 79th annual ACADEMY AWARDS, the OPRAH WINFREY SHOW and LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O’BRIEN.

She’s wise, candid and the world’s foremost authority on sex. Experience the insight of Dr. Ruth Westheimer as she kicked off the Kravis Center’s 2017 Lunch & Learn series. This intimate talk is led by Steven Caras, former New York City Ballet member, acclaimed dance photographer, guest speaker and the subject of the PBS Documentary, STEVEN CARAS: SEE THEM DANCE. Westheimer, who has inspired millions to become more comfortable talking about sex, shares her well-known humor and charm, as well as her incredible life, which began with escaping the Holocaust and losing both her parents at the age of ten. Relive Gold Medalist Haochen Zhang’s final round recital in the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. A featured performer in the Kravis Center’s 2016 Young Artists Series, Zhang performs Brahms Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, op. 24 and RAVEL Gaspard de la nuit in this stellar recital.
World renowned American professional ballet company based in Harlem, New York, DANCE THEATRE OF HARLEM, who performed as part of the Kravis Center’s PEAK series during our 2018-2019 season, invites you to dance with them! Whether you’re an avid dancer, dancing for fun or to get fit, this series of instructional videos and classes taught by company artists will have you kicking off your shoes and pirouetting in your living room!
Organ virtuoso Cameron Carpenter, one of the Kravis Center’s most revered performers, hits the road in a series of concerts for the disabled and elderly who are confined to their homes during the pandemic. Performing Bach’s Goldberg Variations as well as the Prelude and Fugue in E-Flat Major, Carpenter is delighted to entertain his audiences and you in this special virtual concert.
Join renowned soprano and arts & health advocate Renée Fleming, a featured artist in the Kravis Center’s 2020-2021 Regional Arts Classical Concert Series, for MUSIC AND MIND LIVE WITH RENÉE FLEMING. This unique discussion will feature Fleming speaking with scientists and practitioners working at the intersection of music, neuroscience, and healthcare. Experts in fields such as childhood development, healthy aging, pain and anxiety management, and rehabilitation will share their findings, and episodes and will include live Q&A from viewers.

ARTS EDUCATION ACTIVITIES & MORE!
Gather up your little ones —the Kravis Center presents LEARN & PLAY, a special online storytelling experience for young children. This series includes 5 different stories told by 5 different professional storytellers over the course of 5 weeks as part of our Kravis @ Home series. Each presentation will engage and entertain your child, and offer a fun activity or lesson you can share with them. Recommended for children ages up to 5 years-old.
A Kravis Center exclusive! Professional storyteller and former Chair of the National Storytelling Network, Caren Neile will entertain and delight your little ones with TOO MUCH NOISE, a story about a little girl’s struggle to fall asleep. Featuring a menagerie of animals and family members who make too much noise at bedtime, this tale is fun, engaging and perfect for kids ages 3-5.
A Kravis Center exclusive! Enjoy this whimsical tale about a family’s pursuit of their favorite snack in this story: CRACKERS AND CHEESE. Storyteller and author Mij Byram will have your children giggling and on the edge of their seats as she shares the adventure that includes a forest, a bear and crackers and cheese! Recommended for children ages 3-5.
A Kravis Center exclusive! Join storyteller Carrie Ayvar in this delightful story about two best friends who live on opposite sides of town and can’t seem to get together to play. Señor Juan and Señor Jose try and try to have a play date but keep missing each other! Find out what happens when they finally get their timing right. Includes an origami finger puppet activity. Broadway fans love their Playbills and Broadway stars love receiving opening night flowers–now you can make your own, environmentally friendly flowers upcycled from Playbills! Sasha Pensanti, created Playbill flowers in 2014 while working backstage at WICKED on Broadway. Join her as she teaches you how to create your own paper flowers out of Playbills.
