Twyla Tharp, one of the century's most transcendent dancers and choreographers, celebrates 50 years of groundbreaking creativity with an evening of classic and new work. The double bill begins with Preludes and Fugues, a work for 12 dancers set to J.S. Bach's piano score Well-Tempered Clavier, followed by one of her most popular pieces, Nine Sinatra Songs, a ballroom dance extravaganza with stunning costumes by Oscar de la Renta.
