Emeline Michel fuses pop, jazz, blues and traditional Haitian rhythms to create deeply moving music delivered with warmth and charisma. The soulful singer, who released her 10th album, Quintessence, in 2013, has performed worldwide for more than 20 years, including appearances at New York’s Carnegie Hall, the Montreal International Jazz Festival and on MTV’s Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief.
