This season’s mission is to address the concept of "The Well-Rounded Writer." A fertile writer is always in search of new ground. Each seminar will feature major literary, theatrical or cinematic techniques. These four and a half Circle Seminars are for seasoned writers. Writers who are new to The Writers’ Academy may apply with a five-page writing sample.

Playwriting with focus on the classic play within you – in other words the deeply felt, autobiographically based material that has been seeping for a long time.

Members of the Circle Series are encouraged to meet with Ms. Gilbert regarding their ongoing projects. She will set aside time each week for personal appointments.

Conducted by novelist, biographer, playwright and teacher Julie Gilbert, The Writers’ Academy encourages, nurtures and develops creative writing skills in most genres of expression.
