FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between the Stanford Broadway Across America – Palm Beach series and Kravis On Broadway?

Broadway Across America is not a Kravis Center entity. The series was presented by a completely separate organization, owned by Live Nation, which rented the Kravis Center for its presentations. That organization has its own subscriber lists and patrons, whose names and information they do not share with the Kravis Center. Broadway Across America will no longer present its series at our venue.

The new Kravis On Broadway series of professional touring shows will be presented by the Kravis Center itself and we will build a whole new database of subscribers

If I was a subscriber for the Broadway Across America series, can I keep my same seats if I subscribe to Kravis On Broadway?

We cannot make that guarantee. However, we want you to be a satisfied subscriber of the new Kravis On Broadway series and we will do our best to provide current Broadway Across America – Palm Beach subscribers with optimal seating. As we kick off this new series of award-winning shows, the Kravis Center will continue its long tradition of offering priority seating to its annual donors, whose support of our Annual Campaign enables them to be part of bringing these world-class performances to our community. You can become a donor for as little as $75 and subscription orders will be fulfilled by level of giving and by the date orders are received within each donor level. That’s why becoming a Kravis Center donor now is important.

When can I order a Kravis On Broadway subscription?

Subscriptions go on sale to the general public on May 31.

What are the benefits of becoming a subscriber to Kravis On Broadway?

A SEASON DISCOUNT: While single ticket buyers pay full price for all shows, subscribers pay one low price – as little as $137.50 for the entire subscription.

THE BEST SEATS IN THE HOUSE: All subscription orders are filled before individual tickets go on sale to the general public, ensuring you the best locations available at the time you order.

EXCHANGE PRIVILEGES: Subscribers can exchange tickets for another performance of the same show if they are available. Just return your tickets to the box office at least 48 hours prior to the show.

PRIORITY TICKETS: Subscribers get to purchase additional single tickets as well as tickets to any new Kravis On Broadway shows added to the season before public sale.

GUARANTEED SEATING: Subscribers in all sections, excluding the Broadway Society section, will receive guaranteed seat renewal.

What is the Broadway Society section?

Broadway Society seating is located in the front Orchestra level, rows DD-FF, Rows A-N and Grand tier level, rows A-C and Grand Tier boxes. Only Kravis Center annual donors with Broadway Society section seats will receive guaranteed seat renewal in that section in subsequent years, along with pre-performance complimentary champagne and a 15 percent discount at the Kravis Center’s Gallery & Gift Shop.

Is becoming a donor required to purchase a Kravis On Broadway subscription?

No, but remember that Kravis Center donors will have the first opportunity to order tickets to this new series and like many companies who offer consumers a new service, we have an introductory offer for Kravis On Broadway. For as little as $75, you receive many donor benefits. In addition to priority seating for the Kravis On Broadway series, you receive priority seating for all “Kravis Center presents” performances. When you receive your season brochure, prior to the general public, you will have the benefit of ordering tickets for all Kravis Center presentations throughout the year, including pop, country, classical, comedy, dance, opera and many more shows we offer year-round.

Donors are also notified in advance of the general public of any new shows added to the Kravis Center’s schedule of presentations. Your donation also makes you eligible to receive special offers, a subscription to Kravis Center publications, and you’ll be supporting the arts in your community. Additional benefits, such as invitations to special events, a special memento of the Kravis Center season and other benefits may apply, based on the level of your annual commitment. And, do not forget that your donation is tax deductible.

Plus, by becoming a donor and Kravis On Broadway subscriber now, you have the advantage of ordering from the comfort of your own home, by mail, fax or on the web; and you order at a price that allows you to avoid service charges that the general public pays when they order individual tickets to the same performances.

Can I order tickets for any show before the general public if I become a donor?

You will receive priority ticketing benefits for any Kravis Center presentation. That would not include presentations by Ballet Florida, Miami City Ballet, Palm Beach Opera, Palm Beach Pops, or any other organization other than the Kravis Center.

How can I become a Kravis Center donor?

Our Development Department would be happy to answer any questions and assist you in becoming a Kravis Center donor. Please call 561-651-4320. You can also find additional information, or become a donor, by calling our box office at 561-832-7469 or by logging on to kravis.org/membership.

How will my donation help the Kravis Center?

Tickets sales and rental revenue alone do not cover the cost of operating a not-for-profit facility such as the Kravis Center. It is only through generous contributions that we continue to succeed in making the best of the performing arts available to the entire community. The Kravis Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and all gifts made to the Center are tax-deductible to the extent provided by the state and federal law. One hundred percent of such gifts are retained by the Center to support its operations.

Charity Navigator, America’s premier independent charity evaluator, has given the Kravis Center its highest rating – four stars – indicating that our organization excels, as compared to other charities in America, in successfully managing its finances in an efficient and effective manner. You can learn more through the organization’s website – charitynavigator.org.

Will I have to remain a Kravis Center annual donor in order to retain my seats for Kravis On Broadway presentations?

You must be a Kravis Center annual donor to have guaranteed seat renewal in the Broadway Society section. Subscribers in all other sections will have guaranteed seat renewal without being a Kravis Center donor.

Can I become a subscriber without becoming a Kravis Center donor?

Yes. But keep in mind that Kravis Center donors will have the first opportunity to order. It is to your benefit to become a donor in order to obtain early seat selection and it is only through generous contributions that we continue to succeed in making the best of the performing arts available to the entire community. If you are not a donor you will receive information after our donors have been seated and we open subscriptions to the general public on May 31.

We look forward to having you as a guest when Kravis On Broadway begins this fall.
